2008-09: Koppel was a two-time champion at the indoor Empire 8 meet, winning the 55-meter hurdles (8.60) and long jump (5.38 meters). She also placed second in the high jump (1.63 meters) and triple jump (10.80 meters). Koppel was named Field Athlete of the Meet. Outdoors, she won the Empire 8 title in the 100-meter hurdles while placing second in both the long jump and high jump. In total, Koppel was a 12-time all-state performer as a senior. Indoors, she won the 55-meter hurdles while placing in the high jump (2nd), long jump (2nd), pentathlon (3rd), 800-meter relay (3rd) and triple jump (4th). Outdoors, she won the 100-meter hurdles while placing in the heptathlon (2nd), triple jump (2nd), javelin (2nd), high jump (5th) and long jump (6th).

2007-08: Koppel missed her junior season due to injury.

2006-07: Koppel won Empire 8 and NYSCTC titles in the pentathlon during the indoor season. She was also Empire 8 champion in the long jump and triple jump. Outdoors, she was Empire 8 champion in the javelin, long jump and high jump and was runner-up in the 100-meter hurdles and heptathlon. She placed fourth in the heptathlon at the ECAC Championships and eighth in the high jump.

2005-06: Koppel set an Ithaca record in the 55-meter hurdles, with a time of 8.54 at the indoor ECAC Championships. She earned all-ECAC honors by placing fourth in the event. She earned all-state honors in the pentathlon (3rd at NYSCTC Championships), high jump (3rd) and 55-meter hurdles (4th). Outdoors, Koppel qualified for nationals in the heptathlon. She placed 19th in the NCAA. Koppel was state champion in the heptathlon, and also earned all-state honors in the 100-meter hurdles (5th), high jump (5th), triple jump (5th) and javelin (6th). Koppel was named NYSCTC Rookie of the Year.

High School: Koppel is a 2005 graduate of Southside High School.

Personal: A health promotion and physical education major, she is the daughter of James and Norma Koppel. She is also a member of the women’s soccer team.
