High School: A 2018 graduate of Amherst Regional High School, Willy Wright was coached by Charlie Edwards. He led the Hurricanes as team captain as a junior and senior, as well as receiving team MVP honors as a sophomore and junior and received All-Western Mass honors in 2017. He also received honors for Nordic Skiing, where he was All-Western Mass in 2016, 2017, and 2018.

Personal: A journalism major, he is the son of Deb and Jim Wright. He has older three siblings, Issac, Grace and Hannah, that went to University of Maine-Farmington, Bates College and Bowdoin College, respectively.
