RESULTS
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's track & field team finished third overall at the Liberty League Indoor Championships at RIT on Saturday with 96 points. The University of Rochester won with 200.5 points, while Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute placed second with 168 points.
Jalen Leonard-Osbourne claimed first in the 60-meter dash with a facility record time of 6.79 seconds, while
Andy Frank finished third in 6.99 and
Anthony D'Addetta was eighth at 7.20.
Frank also entered the 200-meter dash and won in a time of 22.29 seconds.
Nathaniel Oczkowski took third in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.56 seconds.
The 4x400-meter relay team of
Ian Ertel,
Alex Whatley,
Jonathan Sadanaga and
Conor Ryan were fifth place finishers in 3:31.24.
Justin Showstead placed sixth in the weight throw with a mark of 15.21 meters (49' 11"), while
Daniel Hutchinson took seventh in the high jump at 1.84 meters (6' 0.5") and
Matt Lokshin was eighth in the triple jump at 12.43 meters (40' 9.5").
Brendan Sheehan finished seventh overall in the heptathlon with 3664 points. Sheehan entered the day in second place but was unfortunately disqualified in the 60 hurdles and was deducted 530 points. On Saturday, Sheehan won the pole vault at 4.70 meters.
Ithaca heads to the AARTFC Championships at the Armory in NYC next weekend.
