RESULTS
CORTLAND, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's track & field team won several events at SUNY Cortland on Friday in what was one of the strongest showings by the team this season.
Ben Buffone won the 800-meter run in 1:54.75 and the 4x100-meter relay team of
Jacob Antilety,
Anik Vossschulte,
Matt Lokshin and
Max Boreland took the top spot in 42.76 seconds, which was nearly two second faster than the runner-up team.
The 4x400-meter relay team also placed first in 3:23.90, which was eight seconds faster than the next relay, and that squad was made up on
Edward Kennedy,
George Nilson,
Damian Simmonds and Buffone.
Raphael Campanile cleared 4.45 meters in the pole vault to win with event, while
Dylan Sullivan was third at 4.20 meters and
Blake Kinnaird took fifth at 4.05 meters.
Daniel Musilli took first in the javelin with a mark of 44.78 meters.
Boreland was a second place runner in the 100-meter dash in a time of 10.95 seconds. Boreland also finished second in the 200-meter dash in 21.98, while Vossschulte followed in third place in a time of 22.02 seconds.
Kennedy second a runner-up performance in the 400-meter hurdles in 55.81 seconds.
Lokshin took fourth in the 110-meter hurdles in 15.27 seconds and was fifth in the high jump at 1.74 meters, while
Sullivan Cook took fifth in the steeplechase at 10:53.39.
Tyler Duffin secured fifth in the long jump at 6.24 meters.
Ithaca is at Cornell and Bucknell next weekend.
