High School: He was a three-sport athlete in football, basketball and track & field at Episcopal Academy. He was a member of the three-time state indoor track & field champions and ran on the fourth place 4x400-meter relay team.

Personal: He is the son of Norman and Jennifer Vossschulte. He has an older brother.
