ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's track & field team accumulated 68 points at the Liberty League Indoor Championship at RIT to finish fourth overall out of eight teams.
Quinten Lewis was the top performer in the triple jump as he measured out 14.59 meters to win by .51 meters. The mark from Lewis puts him at No. 21 on the Division III list.
Matt Lokshin was the runner-up in the heptathlon with 4704 points as he won the shot put at 11.70 meters and the 60-meter hurdles in a time of 8.68 seconds. Lokshin also finished eighth in the 60 hurdles final in 8.69 seconds.
Max Boreland and
Anik Vossschulte ran identical times of 7.01 (7.005 and 7.008) seconds in the 60-meter dash to place fourth and fifth. They also competed in the 200-meter dash and Vossschulte took fourth in 22.39 seconds and Boreland was eighth in 22.73 seconds.
IC's 4x400-meter relay of
Damian Simmonds,
George Nilson, Vossschulte and
Matthew DeJulio posted a time of 3:28.17 to come in fourth place.
Sebastien-Oliver Lacrete finished seventh in the triple jump at 12.70 meters.
Ithaca will head to New York City next weekend for the AARTFC Championships at the Armory.
