EVENT RESULTS | ALL-AROUND | SCORE SHEET

ITHACA, N.Y. - The Ithaca College gymnastics team finished in fourth place with 192.325 total points at the NCGA National Championships Saturday afternoon in Ben Light Gymnasium, breaking the previous program record of 191.650 set in 2019. Wisconsin-Oshkosh won the national championship with a team score of 194.100, while Brockport finished second at 192.600 and Wisconsin-La Crosse took third at 192.575.

First-year Skye Cohen finished third in the meet's All-Around competition with 37.900 points, tying her season best in the event. Cohen finished just behind UW-Whitewater's Emily North and Rhode Island College's Olivia Keys in the event. The first-year's third place finish also earned her an All-America distinction.

Senior Amelia Bailey and first-year Jillian Freyman highlighted the individual events for Ithaca, with both gymnasts posting an impressive 9.775 on the balance beam. Their performances earned both All-America honors as well. 

Ithaca's first rotation took the team to bars where the Bombers earned a 47.850 total score, for third place in the event overall. 

Senior Julia O'Sullivan was the Bombers top performer in the event with a 9.650 for 15th place. First-year Nicole Lonski followed close behind her teammate, grabbing 18th place overall with a 9.625. 

Juniors Zoe Kyriakopoulos and Cameryn Nichols recorded 9.575 and 9.550 on bars respectively, for 21st and 22th place overall. 

First-year Marlena Bailey (9.450) and Cohen (9.375) also competed in the event for Ithaca.

The Bombers recorded a 47.950 on beam in the team's second rotation of the meet, for a 95.800 running score and fourth place among the six teams. 

After A.Bailey and Freyman's sixth place finish, Kyriakopoulos notched a 9.700 in the event, grabbing 15th place. Cohen followed her teammates, posting a 9.475 on the balance beam. 

Junior Ai-Zhen Tung (9.225) and O'Sullivan (8.200) also competed on the beam for the Bombers.

Ithaca earned a 48.500 on floor in the team's third rotation, for a 144.300 running score. The Bombers placed third overall in the event. 

A.Bailey took home the top spot in the event once again for IC, picking up a 9.750 score for her performance on floor and grabbing ninth place overall. 

Freyman and sophomore Cassidy Gallivan tied for the second spot for the Bombers, sitting just behind A.Bailey at 9.725 for 15th place in the event. Cohen finished on floor in 21st place, just behind her teammates with a 9.700. 

First-year Caitlin Pellegrino (9.600) and Lonski (9.525) also posted impressive performances on floor.

Ithaca's final rotation took the the Bombers to vault, earning the team 48.025 score and second in the event behind UW-Oshkosh and UW-La Crosse's first place tie. 

Junior Nya Pauldon landed in the event's top spot for IC with a 9.675 for 10th place overall. First-year Dallas Rachal followed close behind her teammate in 12th place at 9.650. 

Freyman (9.600), Goodwin (9.550) and Gallivan (9.550) rounded out the competitors for the Bombers on vault.
