Grace Murray Receives WCGA First Team All-American

PITTSBURGH, Pa.  – The Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) announced the 2026 WCGA Regular Season All-Americans, celebrating the top student-athletes in NCAA Division I, II, III and NAIA gymnastics on March 30. These prestigious honors recognize outstanding performances throughout the regular season and highlight the dedication, skill, and hard work of gymnasts from across the country.

Ithaca College senior Grace Murray was selected as First Team All-American on floor after she earned a regular season scoring average of 9.840. This is the second time Murray has been honored in her career by the WCGA, adding a second team recognition during her sophomore season. She is also just the second IC gymnast to be named First Team All-American since Emily Kobusky, which also occurred two years ago.

Murray now has six All-America honors to her name, making her just the fifth gymnast in program history to receive six or more All-Americans during their careers.

At the NCGA Championships, Murray won the floor national title with a score of 9.850 to become the 13th national champion in gymnastics. She also placed fifth on vault with a score of 9.775.

Throughout the 2026 season, Murray finished in the top five in 18 of her 20 routines on vault and floor, which including 11 first place showings.

Selection Criteria:

*All divisions utilize NQS at the conclusion of the regular season to determine honorees.

● Division III: First Team All-America shall be awarded to the top (1) finisher, plus ties, of the NCAA regular season for all four (4) events plus the all-around in the NCGA East plus Centenary and from the NCGA West. Second Team All-America shall be awarded to the second (2nd) place finisher, plus ties, of the NCAA regular season for all four (4) events plus the all-around in each region. The restriction in the east to allow no more than one of the away meets to be out of the school's respective region does not apply. The awards will be based on all scores as of the Monday before the NCGA Championships.
