RESULTS
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Ithaca College gymnastics team posted its second highest score of the season (187.150) Sunday afternoon, defeating both No. 9 Springfield and No. 7 Ursinus College. The Bombers snagged first place team finishes in three out of the four events, narrowly losing on the balance beam to Springfield by less than two points.

Jillian Freyman continued her outstanding rookie season with a tie for first place on vault with a 9.600. Fellow first-year
Caitlin Pellegrino also tied for first on floor exercise with a 9.675.

Skye Cohen took first place in the All-Around competition (37.475), besting Ursinus' Alyssa DeLorme by just over half a point.

IC had five top-ten finishers on vault, including
Nya Pauldon (9.575),
Meghan Bell (9.500), and Cohen (9.450), who took the third through fifth spots.
Cassidy Gallivan tied for seventh with a 9.400. First-year
Dallas Rachal also competed on vault, posting a 9.325 in the event.

Junior
Zoe Kyriakopoulos took home the top spot for the Bombers on uneven bars at third with a 9.500. First-year
Marlena Bailey finished close behind her teammate at fourth with a 9.450 while junior
Cameryn Nichols finished fifth overall at 9.300.

Cohen finished eighth on the uneven bars for Ithaca with a 9.100.
Kaylie Goodwin and
Julia O'Sullivan also competed in the event for IC.

While Springfield and Ursinus took many of the top spots on balance beam, four Bombers made top-ten finishes in the event. Cohen and senior
Amelia Bailey tied for sixth place, the top spot-on beam for Ithaca, both scoring a 9.300.

O'Sullivan took ninth on the beam exercise with a 9.175 while Freyman finished a spot behind in tenth with a 9.100. Goodwin also competed in the event for Ithaca.

After Pellegrino's first place finish on floor, five other performers finished in the top-ten in the event for the Bombers. Freymen took third with a 9.650 while Cohen followed close behind in fourth with a 9.625.

Amelia Bailey tied for seventh, posting a 9.450 score on the floor exercise. Bell took ninth at 9.425 while Gallivan finished just behind her in tenth with a 9.375.

Next up the Bombers will take on No. 1 SUNY Brockport and No.10 SUNY Cortland next Sunday, Feb. 13 in the Cornell Quad Meet. Start time is slated for 1 p.m.
