RESULTS
CORTLAND, N.Y. – The Ithaca College gymnastics program traveled over to SUNY Cortland on Wednesday evening to take part in the annual Rumble and Tumble event, which is a dual meet with the IC and Cortland wrestling programs. At Corey Gymnasium on Wednesday evening, the gymnasts topped Cortland, 187.900-184.475, for the fourth win against the Red Dragons this season. On the wrestling mat, IC edged out Cortland, 24-21.
The Bombers won three of four events in the dual, coming away with victories in bars, beam and vault. The Red Dragons prevailed in the floor exercise.

IC began competition on bars and
Nicole Lonski put together the best routine by far, scoring 9.750.
Marlena Bailey was IC's second-best performer with 9.475, while
Cameryn Nichols earned 9.250.
Zoe Kyriakopoulos completed the bars with 8.650 and
Elizabeth Blessley and
Skye Cohen were each awarded 8.5000.
Five of Cortland's six gymnasts did not reach 9.000 on bars.
The Bombers then moved to vault where the scores were much more consistent.
Nya Pauldon led the way with 9.550, followed by a 9.475 from Cohen.
Cassidy Gallivan turned in a 9.375 vault and
Dallas Rachal earned 9.350.
Meghan Bell posted a 9.325 and
Jillian Freyman turned in an 8.675.
On the third rotation, Ithaca moved to the floor. Despite two neutral deductions in the rotation, all six Bombers scored over 9.125.
Cohen performed the best routine with 9.550, while
Amelia Bailey and
Caitlin Pellegrino weren't far off with 9.525. Freyman rebounded from her vault performance to post 9.475 on floor and Gallivan earned 9.275. Bell was sixth for IC with 9.125.
IC concluded the Rumble and Tumble on beam and flourished, turning in its best team score of the evening.
A. Bailey continued to shine on the beam with another 9.800, matching her performance from three days ago. Freyman capped off her evening with 9.775, while Cohen had a 9.650.
Julia O'Sullivan made her first appearance of the night and finished the beam with 9.500. Kyriakopoulos was shown a 9.125 and
Ai-Zhen Tung rounded out the beam with 9.050.
The Bombers have a quick turnaround and will host Cortland and Brockport on Sunday for the annual Harriett Marranca Memorial Invitational on Sunday at 3 p.m.
