ITHACA, N.Y. – The NCAA released its Division III qualifiers for the upcoming Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Friday evening, which will be held in Greensboro, N.C on May 27-29 at the Irwin Belk Track and a total of nine Ithaca College student-athletes will compete next weekend.

For each men's individual event contested, including the decathlon, the top 17 declared student-athletes were accepted into the competition. For each women's individual event contested, including the heptathlon, the top 19 declared student-athletes were accepted into the competition. For each relay event contested, the top 14 declared relay teams, one per institution, were accepted into the competition. Â

On the women's side, a total of seven student-athletes will compete in North Carolina. Ithaca enters the championships ranked No. 4 in the nation.

Parley Hannan qualified in two events – the 5000-meter run and the 10000-meter run. Hannan will be seeded first in both events with top times of 16:17.94 in the 5K and 34:12.50 in the 10K. She will run at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday night in the 10K and 3 p.m. Saturday in the 5K.

Meghan Matheny will make another appearance on the national stage as she is seeded first in the pole vault at 3.97 meters.
Juliann Terry is seeded second in the pole vault at 3.85 meters, while
Sara Altonen is seeded ninth in the pole vault with a mark of 3.75 meters. The women's pole vault final takes place at 11 a.m. on Thursday.

Logan Bruce will also represent the Bombers in two events next week – the 100-meter hurdles and the heptathlon. Bruce is the No. 4 seed in the hurdles at 14.13 seconds and No. 5 in the heptathlon with 4821 points. The heptathlon spans two days, beginning at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday with four events and will conclude on Friday at 11:30 a.m. with the final three events. The prelims for the 100 hurdles goes off at 2:10 p.m. on Friday and the final is at 12:50 p.m. on Saturday.

Katelyn Hutchison will run in the 400-meter dash as a 10 seed with a time of 56.56. seconds. The prelims for the 400 takes place at 3 p.m. on Friday and the final at 1:10 p.m. Saturday.

Samantha Healy qualified in the hammer throw and is seeded 11th with a mark of 53.26 meters. Healy will take the stage at 2 p.m. Saturday.
For the men, two Bombers will head South for the national championships.

Nathaniel Oczkowski will make an appearance in the 400-meter hurdles and is seeded 14th with a top time of 53.67 seconds. Oczkowski runs at 4:40 p.m. on Thursday in the prelims, and if he qualifies for the final, will run again at 2:25 p.m. on Saturday.

Dom Mikula will look to add another All-America honor to his career as he qualified once again in the pole vault and is seeded third with a school record mark of 5.11 meters. Mikula will compete at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
