Track & Field Programs Set for Outdoor Seasons

ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's and women's track & field teams have announced their outdoor schedules for the upcoming 2021 season, and will begin competition tomorrow, March 27, at Cortland in a dual meet. To accommodate for proper social distancing and occupancy, tomorrow's meet will start at 11 a.m. for the women and 4 p.m. for the men.

After an extremely successful opening indoor meet on March 6 at Nazareth, which resulted in two new school records on the men's side and a total of 55 USTFCCCA All-Region performances from both programs, Ithaca is ready to take on a competitive spring season.

Next Saturday, April 3, the Bombers will travel up to Rochester for the U of R Invitational beginning at 12 p.m. IC then heads back to Cortland on April 11 for the Cortland Challenge at 11 a.m.

Ithaca is currently looking for a meet on April 16-17, but will return to action on April 23-24 at St. John Fisher for the Cardinal Classic. The men compete on the 23rd, while the women are slotted for the 24th. IC also has another meet at Cortland listed on the schedule that weekend – the Cortland Red Dragon Open.

Tentatively, IC has a meet scheduled for May 1 at either Nazareth or Geneseo. The Liberty League Championships date is still TBA, but the Bombers will compete in the AARTFC Championships at Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, Pa. on May 19-20.

The NCAA Championships are currently scheduled to be held in North Carolina the following week.
