RESULTS
CANTON, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's track & field team finished up the Liberty League Outdoor Championship at St. Lawrence on Saturday with a fourth place showing as the Bombers totaled 98 points over the two days.
RPI won convincingly with 317 points, while Rochester was the runner-up with 158 points and RIT earned 156.5 points.
Ben Buffone was the 800-meter run champion in a time of 1:52.90.
Damian Simmonds was a third place performer in the 400-meter dash as he crossed the finish line in 48.74 seconds.
Ithaca's 4x100-meter relay of
Jacob Antilety,
Anik Vossschulte,
Matt Lokshin and
Max Boreland placed third in 42.71 seconds. IC's 4x400-meter relay and placed third in a time of 3:21.73 and that team consisted of
Edward Kennedy,
George Nilson, Simmonds and Buffone.
Boreland took fourth in the 100-meter dash in 10.88 seconds and fourth in the 200-meter dash at 21.89 seconds, while Lokshin also ran in the 110-meter hurdles and finished fifth overall in a time of 15.16 seconds and was sixth in the 400-meter hurdles in 56.22 seconds.
Kennedy was a fourth place performer in the 400 hurdles in 55.91 seconds, while
Elliott Painting claimed seventh in the 5000-meter run in 14:49.13.
Michael Kauffman measured out 40.57 meters in the discus to come in sixth place overall, while
Avery Sens was seventh in the shot put at 13.32 meters.
