The Ithaca College softball team won its elimination game against Merchant Marine by a score of 2-0 to advance in the NCAA Regional. 
 
The Bombers struck in the bottom of the third inning to score one run, which was quickly followed up by another run scored in the bottom of the fourth inning. 
 
Junior Abbey Pelot pitched a one-hitter and struck out three in her shutout. Offensively, senior Sara Durant had one RBI and freshman Lindsay Galli went 2-for-4 in the contest. 
 
With the win, the Bombers will play Western New England at noon May 8 at Kostrinsky Field.
