ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's basketball team will take on St. Lawrence University this Tuesday, February 25 in the Liberty League Quarterfinals inside Ben Light Gymnasium. After finishing the regular season 20-5 overall and tied for second in the conference, the Bombers earned the No. 3 seed in the Liberty League Championship this season.

Ithaca finished 15-3 in the Liberty League, dropping only conference games to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Hobart (twice). RPI leads the conference this postseason, ending the season with a 17-1 Liberty League record. IC handed RPI its sole conference loss of the season, defeating the Engineers, 62-60, on their home court.

The Bombers finished the regular season with eight straight conference wins and averaged 89.8 points per game during that stretch. IC averaged 14.6 made 3-pointers over the past eight games and shot over 41-percent from beyond the arc.

Last season, Ithaca defeated RPI by 14 points in the quarterfinal round of the tournament. The Bombers eventually fell in the semifinal round to the reigning Liberty League Champions, Skidmore, 82-77.
Union College hosts the other quarterfinal of the Liberty League Championship. Union plays Vassar, and the winners advance to the semifinals at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
