The Ithaca College softball team defeated Herkimer Community College by a score of 5-0.
 
Ithaca scored two runs early in the first inning to take a 2-0 lead. The Bombers then scored one run in each of the second and third innings to extend their lead to 4-0. Ithaca's final run came in the top of the seventh inning.
 
Sue Schneider went 1-for-4 with two RBI and Debbie Tefft went 1-for-2 with two runs scored. M.E. Alger went 1-for-3 with two runs scored.
 
Alger only allowed six hits and recorded two strikeouts in the win.
