The Ithaca College softball team lost against Montclair State University by a score of 5-2 at the NCAA Regional.

Both teams scored one run in the second inning to make the score 1-1 and Ithaca took the lead with one run scored in the top of the fourth inning. Montclair State took the lead as the team scored an impressive four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to make the score 5-2.

The lone RBI of the game came from senior Kathy Volpi. Junior Wendy Jo Haft went 1-for-3 with one run scored and junior Maria Kramer went 1-for-4.

Volpi gave up nine hits and recorded four strikeouts in the loss. The Bombers finish the season with an overall record of 20-11.
