The Ithaca College softball team earned its first win of the season with a 9-3 victory over Marietta College.
 
Both teams scored two runs in the first inning to tie the game at 2-2. In the top of the third inning, the Bombers scored five runs to make the score 7-2. Marietta added one run in the third inning to cut the lead to 7-3.
 
Ithaca's final two runs came in the top of the sixth inning to secure the 9-3 win.
 
Freshman Nancy Liskiewicz had a team-leading six RBI as she finished the day going 2-for-4 with one run scored. Sophomore Amy Bannon went 3-for-4 with one RBI and senior Diana Gorsch had one RBI as well as she went 2-for-3 with one run scored.
 
Senior Julie Wilcox only allowed eight hits and recorded six strikeouts in her first win of the season.
