The Ithaca College softball team defeated Montclair State University by a score of 3-1 in Ithaca's third game of the Montclair State Tournament.
 
With the game tied at 1-1, the Bombers scored two runs in the top of the seventh inning off a two-run triple by senior Heather Afarian to give the Bombers the 3-1 win.
 
Ithaca took the lead with one run scored in the third inning. Montclair State tied the contest in the sixth inning with one run.
 
Afarian led the team with two RBI as she went 1-for-3 and junior Kim Lamoureaux went 1-for-3 with one RBI. Juniors Missy Foley and Nancy Liskiewicz both went 2-for-4 and freshman Chris Pettograsso went 1-for-3 with two runs scored.
 
Senior Stacy Johnson picked up her eighth win of the season as she only allowed six hits and struck out six batters.
