The Ithaca College softball team defeated Marietta College for the second time this season by a score of 9-1.

Marietta scored one run in the first inning to take an early lead, but the Bombers dominated the rest of the game. Ithaca scored two runs in the second inning and added four runs in the third inning to take a 6-1 lead. The Bombers had one run scored in the fifth inning and tacked on two final runs in the sixth inning to secure the 9-1 win.

Junior Jo Leiva went 1-for-2 with two RBI and junior Kim Lamoureaux went 2-for-3 with one RBI and one run scored. Junior Kristin Letourneau had a huge day at the plate as she went 3-for-4 with one RBI and three runs scored.

Senior Stacy Johnson only allowed three hits and recorded eight strikeouts in her fourth win of the season.
