The Ithaca College softball team finished the 1992 regular season with a 10-4 win over Hartwick College.
 
Ithaca took an early lead in the top of the seventh inning with one run scored and added two runs in the top of the third inning to take a 3-0 lead. Hartwick scored one run in the bottom of the third to cut the lead to 3-1.
 
The Bombers scored four runs in the top of the sixth inning to extend the lead to 7-1 and Hartwick cut the lead to 7-4 with three runs scored in the bottom of the sixth inning. Ithaca finished the game with three runs scored in the top of the seventh inning.
 
Senior Heather Afarian had a huge day at the plate for the Bombers as she went 3-for-4 with three RBI and two runs scored. Junior Nancy Liskiewicz had three RBI as well as she went 3-for-5. Junior Missy Foley went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and junior Kim Letourneau went 2-for-3 with one RBI and two runs scored.
 
Senior Stacy Johnson only allowed six hits and recorded four strikeouts in the game. The Bombers will play in the NCAA Northeast Regional with the set start date May 8.
