The Ithaca College softball team defeated Marietta College by a score of 8-1. 
 
Ithaca scored two runs in the first inning and added six runs in the second inning to take an 8-0 lead. Marietta's lone run of the contest came in the fourth inning. 
 
Senior Marybeth Progno went 1-for-1 with two RBI and sophomore Kelle Jo Rolfe went 2-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored. Sophomore Kim Lamoureaux and junior Sarah Caryl each had one hit with two RBI as well. 
 
Junior Stacy Johnson only allowed two hits and recorded four strikeouts in the win.
