The Ithaca College softball team defeated Kean University 11-4.
After the third inning, Kean had a 2-1 lead. In the bottom of the fourth and fifth innings, the Bombers scored five runs in each inning to extend the lead to 11-2. Kean scored two more runs in the fifth inning.
Freshman pitcher had a huge day at the plate and on the mound for the Bombers. Offensively, she went 3-for-4 with two RBI. In the circle, she pitched the full game, only allowing seven hits and striking out a season-high eight batters.
Sophomore Kerri Barber had a massive day at the plate as she went 2-for-3 with four RBI and one home run. It is her first home run of the season.
