The Ithaca College softball team defeated Emory University 1-0 in the Division III World Series. 
 
The lone run for the Bombers came in the bottom of the fourth inning when senior Kristin Furdon scored off a fielder's choice hit by junior Kim Stephens. 
 
Junior Abby Hanrahan continued her dominant pitching at the World Series as she only allowed one hit in the shutout and struck out three.
