The Ithaca College softball team fell to Marietta College by a score of 6-1.
Ithaca's lone run came in the first inning as the team took an early lead. Marietta tied the contest in the second inning and added three runs in the third inning to take a 4-1 lead. Marietta's last two runs came in the sixth inning.
Freshmen Jennifer Blum and Jennifer Hoselton both went 1-for-2 and freshman Jeanine Bleau went 1-for-3 in the contest. Senior Missy Foley went 1-for-3 as well.
Senior Heather Ware gave up eight hits and had one strikeout in the loss. Ware is now 6-2 on the season.
