The No. 1 Ithaca College softball team fell to the No. 6 Muskingum University by a score of 7-1. Muskingum had 11 hits in the contest, while Ithaca only had two. 
 
The Fighting Muskies scored two runs in the bottom of the second inning. In the top of the third, senior Kim Stephens had the only RBI of the game of the game for the Bombers to cut the lead to 2-1. Muskingum responded with one run in the bottom of the third, then scored three in the fifth and one in the sixth to secure the win. 
 
Senior Abby Hanrahan is now 0-2 on the year. She finished the contest pitching only two innings, giving up three hits and striking out two.
