The Ithaca College softball team defeated Wartburg College by a score of 7-3. The Bombers are now 5-1 on the season. 
 
Ithaca scored one run in the first inning to take an early lead and then scored an impressive five runs in the third inning to take a 6-0 lead. Wartburg scored two runs in the bottom of the third inning and one in the bottom of the fourth inning to cut the lead to 6-3. The Bombers added one run in the top of the fifth inning. 
 
Sophomore Jeanine Bleau went 2-for-4 with three RBI and sophomore Jennifer Hoselton went 1-for-3 with two RBI. Sophomore Amy Lesperance went 2-for-3 with one RBI. 
 
Freshman Nicki Swan pitched a three-hitter through six innings and recorded five strikeouts in the win.
