Ithaca vs Hartwick, 1994

The Ithaca College softball team swept both games of its doubleheader against Hartwick College, winning the first game 14-3 and the second game 11-0. 
 
Game 1 | Ithaca 14, Hartwick 3
 
Ithaca scored a quick six runs in the first inning and Hartwick responded with two runs of its own to cut the lead. The Bombers scored seven runs in the third inning to take a 13-2 lead as Hartwick added one more run in the bottom of the third inning. Ithaca's last run came in the fourth inning.
 
Sophomore Jeanine Bleau went 2-for-4 with two RBI and junior Susan Reid went 2-for-2 with two RBI. Senior Chris Pettograsso went 1-for-2 with a two-run double. 
 
Freshman Nicki Swan pitched a two-hitter through five innings and recorded eight strikeouts. She also went 2-for-3 with one RBI and one run scored. 
 
Game 2 | Ithaca 11, Hartwick 0
 
The Bombers scored one run in the first inning and added three runs in the second inning to take an early 4-0 lead. Ithaca tallied seven runs in the top of the third inning to take an 11-0 lead after three innings. 
 
Sophomore Jennifer Blum went 2-for-3 with two RBI and freshman Ellen Mullin went 3-for-3 with one RBI and three runs scored. Bleau, as well as sophomore Jennifer Hoselton and freshman Angela Ellis, each had one RBI as well. 
 
Junior Susan Reid pitched a one-hitter through five innings and recorded five strikeouts.
