The Ithaca College softball team defeated Bridgewater State University 4-3 in the seventh game of the NCAA Northeast Regional.
Bridgewater State scored three runs in the bottom of the first inning to take an early lead. The Bombers scored an impressive four runs in the top of the second inning to take the 4-3 lead, and Ithaca maintained that lead throughout the rest of the game.
Junior Tracy Welliver went 1-for-3 with two RBI and freshman Julie McGraw went 1-for-3 with two RBI.
Junior Nicki Swan allowed seven hits and struck out four batters in the win.
