The Ithaca College softball team defeated Bridgewater State by a score of 12-0. Ithaca is now 15-11 on the season.
Ithaca scored one run in the first inning and tallied three more runs in the top of the third. The Bombers then scored eight runs over the next two innings to end the game in five innings. The Bears recorded seven errors throughout the game while Ithaca only had one error.
Freshman Melissa Fratine went 2-for-4 with three RBI and junior Amy McMordie went 1-for-2 with two RBI. Senior Mary Ellen Hoffman went 3-for-4 with four runs scored.
Freshman Robin Bimson struck out four batters and only allowed two hits.
