The Ithaca College softball team defeated Marietta College 13-3 in the team's final game at the Rebel Spring Games.
Ithaca scored two runs in the bottom of the first inning and added an impressive six runs in the bottom of the third. The Bombers then added five runs in the bottom of the fourth. All three of Marietta's runs came in the top of the fifth.
Freshman Laura paved the way for the Bombers offensively as she hit her third home run of the year. She finished the day going 2-for-3 with six RBI. Junior Cheryl Wah and freshman Nicole Fava each had two RBI.
Sophomore Robin Bimson only allowed five hits in the win. She is now 6-2 on the season.
The Bombers conclude the spring break trip with a record of 8-2. Ithaca will face off against Elmira College in the team's home opener.
