The Bombers got off to a fast start at 125-pounds, as Ferdinand Mase continued his breakout sophomore campaign with an impressive victory. He turned Centenary's Bobby Demeter to his back for a first-period pin-fall just 2:06 into the bout to jettison IC to an early 6-0 advantage.

The Cyclones clawed four points back in the next bout, as freshman Tito Colom was unable to keep pace with Dylan Luciano. The Centenary grappler picked up a 17-5 major decision to pull the home side within 6-4. However, that was as close as the Cyclones could get for the rest of the match.

Senior Nick Wahba (10th NWCA, 7th d3wrestle.com) scored three points for Ithaca with a 7-2 decision over Maxwell Nauta. Freshman sensation, Sammy Schneider (3rd NWCA, 4th d3wrestle.com), pushed his winning streak to 17 consecutive bouts with a 9-6 decision over Christopher Muce to up IC's advantage to 12-4.

In the 157-pound bout, Centenary's Alec Donovan blanked Demitri D'Orsaneo in a 16-0 technical fall. The triumph pulled the Cyclones within 12-9, but it would be the last bout the home side would win on the night.

Nick Velez (4th NWCA, 6th d3wrestle.com) made quick work of Thomas Miller in a 12-3 major decision, while Jaison White doubled up with a 16-8 major of Thomas Hinz at 174-pounds. The two victories put IC on the precipice of clinching the match at 20-9.

Sophomore Jake Ashcraft ultimately sealed things for the Bombers at 184-pounds. He turned Konstantinos Protogeropoulos of Centenary to his back for an opening period pin-fall (1:58). The victory was Ashcraft's team-leading 11th victory by fall of the year, while it upped Ithaca's lead to an insurmountable 26-9.

Senior Carlos Torbio (2nd NWCA, 3rd d3wrestle.com) and sophomore Jake O'Brien (10th d3wrestle.com) put the exclamation point on the night for IC with a 7-1 decision and a 13-5 major decision, respectively.

Ithaca returns to action with an 11:00 a.m. tilt against Delaware Valley University tomorrow morning.
