Coming out of the halftime break, both teams were firing on all cylinders as the lead changed hands eight times over the half's first four minutes, but Union would eventually take the lead for good as a pair of free throws started a streak of 12 straight points for the home team to make it an 11-point margin, 66-55.
Ithaca would cut the lead to seven points with four consecutive free throws by Chasin, but another run by the Dutchmen put the game out of reach as Ithaca fell, 91-77.
Chasin posted his first double-double of the season after scoring 20 points along with a team-high 11 rebounds.
