Last Time Out
Ithaca picked up its biggest win of the year this past Saturday when they defeated Washington & Jefferson 3-1 at a rain and wind-swept Higgins Stadium. The Bombers needed a victory over the Presidents, who entered the day with a 13-2 overall record, in order to keep alive their hopes for a berth to the conference tournament. Ithaca powered past Washington & Jefferson on the strength of a three-goal second half to pull out the victory.

Second Half Scoring
It should come as no surprise that the Bombers sealed the victory with a strong performance in the second half. IC has been dominating the final 35 minutes for the majority of the season and did so yet again this past Saturday. Ithaca tallied three goals over an eight-minute span to jump out to a 3-0 lead; more than enough for the Bombers strong defense and goalkeeping to hold onto down the stretch.

Scouting SUNY Brockport
The Golden Eagles enter the day with a 5-11 overall mark on the year and a 1-5 record in SUNYAC competition. Despite the struggles overall, Brockport has been red-hot of late, entering the mid-week contest with the Bombers with wins in its last three games. The Golden Eagles are coming off a 2-0 shutout victory over Morrisville State this past Saturday. Margo Tremaine paces the offense with 15 points on seven goals and one assist. Abby Meagher has chipped in 11 points on four goals and three helpers, while Christina Conkling is also in double digits for points with 10 on three goals and four assists. Sarah Beam is the team's primary keeper, entering the day with a 3-6 record and 97 saves on the season.

Looking Ahead
The Bombers conclude the regular season with a road contest at Elmira on Saturday, October 29. Ithaca can clinch a spot in the postseason with any victory over the Soaring Eagles. Start time is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
