CORTLAND, N.Y. – The Ithaca College gymnastics team set or tied three team records and posted its highest team score since 2004 with a total of 190.125 on Saturday at Cortland. The Bombers fell just .325 short of the all-time school scoring record, and set team scoring records on the vault and balance beam rotations.
Hannah Donnelly matched the Ithaca College individual record on balance beam with a 9.8. Cortland won the meet with a school-record score of 191.650.

Ithaca set a team record on vault with a score of 47.700 on that rotation. All six members of the lineup scored 9.4 or higher for the Bombers.
Valerie Cohen was tied for second with a 9.625, a career-best score for Cohen.
Rachel Lee had a career-best score of 9.6 to place fourth, and
Kaylee Pacunas tied for fifth with a career-high total of 9.575.

Ithaca also hit a team-record score on balance beam. It was the second week in a row that Ithaca achieved that on beam, following last week's 47.500 at Brockport with a 47.725 on Saturday at Cortland.
Hannah Donnelly's 9.8 placed second on the event and tied the Ithaca school record on beam, which was established by Stephanie Smith in 2004 at Cornell. Other balance beam standouts for Ithaca on Saturday included
Rachel Lee in third with a 9.775 and
Kendra Balcerak in fourth with a 9.75. Both scores were personal records for those gymnasts.

The Bombers posted a season-best score of 47.825 on floor exercise, led by Balcerak with a second-place finish with a score of 9.725. She was followed by Cohen with a 9.7 and
Megan Harrington with a 9.6.

Ithaca totaled 46.875 on uneven bars.
Kelly Nash led Ithaca with a 9.525, Harrington had a 9.5, and Balcerak scored 9.475. Harrington placed second among three competitors on all-around with a total of 37.750, which is a personal record.

The team scoring record of 190.450 was set March 6, 2004 at Cornell. Ithaca continues its season at the NCGA East Region Championships on March 14 at Ursinus.
