ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College gymnastics team scored 183.475 at the 18th annual Big Red Invitational at Cornell. The host Big Red won the meet with a score of 190.625, Brockport took second with 189.425 and Southern Connecticut State was third with a total of 187.300.

Ithaca posted its highest team score of the season on uneven bars with a 46.125 on that rotation.
Kelly Nash led the way on bars for Ithaca with a career-best score of 9.575 and a seventh-place finish.
Kendra Balcerak had a 9.325 and
Mina Shernan had a 9.225.

Ithaca's highest individual finish in any event came on balance beam from
Rachel Lee. She was fourth overall with a 9.65. Harrington was 10th with a 9.3 and
Maggie Nieto was 11th with a 9.275.

Ithaca's first rotation was floor exercise and the team was led by
Megan Harrington's 9.5. Harrington has scored 9.5 or higher on floor in all four Ithaca meets this season.
Valerie Cohen added a 9.275 on floor.

On vault, Cohen placed 11th with a 9.325 and
Kaylee Pacunas had a 9.225.

Harrington was the only all-around competitor in the meet and had a 36.950, her second best all-around total of the season.

Ithaca returns home to Ben Light Gymnasium on Sunday, Feb. 15 at 1 p.m. when the Bombers host Brockport, Rhode Island College and Springfield in the Harriet Marranca Memorial Invitational.
