Box Score ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's basketball team dropped a home conference game to St. John Fisher Tuesday night, falling to the Cardinals by a score of 92-61 at Ben Light Gymnasium. The loss drops the Bombers' overall record to 3-8, with a mark of 1-2 in the Empire 8. St. John Fisher improves to 10-2 overall and 3-0 in conference play.

The Bombers hit 25-of-56 shots from the floor, good for a 44.6 shooting percentage on the night. Ithaca was 5-of-18 from three-point range, and 6-of-8 from the charity stripe.

Keefe Gitto paced the Bombers with 15 points, adding an assist, a block and a team-high seven rebounds in the defeat. Classmate
Max Masucci reached double digits for the sixth time this season, ranking second on the team with 10 points in the start. Freshman

The contest remained close in the opening moments of the first half, as neither team was able to build more than a single-digit advantage. With 13:37 remaining in the first, the Cardinals gained momentum and took an 18-8 lead on the Bombers. A three pointer from Champion brought Ithaca back to within seven points, but the Cardinals pushed forward to regain a double-digit lead shortly after. St. John Fisher rolled through the remainder of the first, taking a 47-28 lead into halftime.

The Cardinals' good fortune carried through the second half, as St. John Fisher finished the contest with a 92-61 win over the Bombers.

Ithaca returns to action on Tuesday, Jan. 13 against Scranton at Ben Light Gymnasium. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.
