Box Score ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Ithaca College field hockey team dropped a 4-2 decision to Rochester Sunday afternoon, falling to the Yellowjackets at Fauver Stadium.  Â

Katie Lass stopped 5-of-9 shots in the loss, moving her record to 1-2 on the year.

Rochester got on the board first, as the Yellowjackets scored in the 30th minute for a 1-0 lead. Neither team was able to score in the remainder of the frame, sending the game to halftime with Rochester ahead. The Yellowjackets scored two-straight to open the second half, netting goals at 41:28 and 45:39 to jump out to a 3-0 advantage.

Coiro broke the Bombers' scoring drought in the 51st minute, as she converted a tip on a shot from junior
Caitlin O'Brien. Coiro's goal marked her first of the season, and pulled the Bombers back to within two scores.

Keegan-Twombly netted her second of the season on a rebound at 63:31, putting the score at 3-2 in favor of the Yellowjackets.

Rochester responded with a goal just under three minutes later, restoring the Yellowjackets' two-goal lead. Ithaca was unable to get on the board again, giving Rochester the 4-2 win.

The Bombers are back on the road for their next contest, as Ithaca travels to Cortland to take on the Red Dragons on Sept. 10. Game time is scheduled for 4 p.m.Â
