Box Score HOBOKEN, N.J. – The Ithaca College field hockey team lost a tough road contest to the Stevens Institute of Technology Saturday afternoon, falling to the Ducks by a score of 3-2. The loss drops the Bombers to 5-8 overall, with a record of 3-4 in the Empire 8.

Colleen Keegan-Twombly scored for the Bombers, while sophomore goalkeeper
Katie Lass made nine saves on 12 Ducks' shots. Ithaca generated 19 total shots, while Stevens recorded 26 in the contest.

Ithaca scored the first two goals of the game, starting with O'Neil's tally at 21:31 of the opening frame. O'Neil cashed in on a rebound after a shot on net from a penalty corner, marking her second goal of 2014.

The Bombers continued to roll with another goal just over six minutes later. Keegan-Twombly scored her seventh goal of the season on a feed from classmate
Lauren Delia. Keegan-Twombly's tally marked her team-leading seventh goal of the season, and gave Ithaca the 2-0 advantage early on.

After heading into the break with a 2-0 lead, the Ducks responded with three-straight goals in the second half. Stevens scored its first at 40:15, before evening the contest at 48:53 on a deflection in front. Stevens scored its final goal in the 65th minute, converting on a penalty corner to take a 3-2 lead.

The Bombers were unable to score again in the contest, giving Stevens the 3-2 conference victory.
