Oneonta, N.Y. -- The Ithaca field hockey team (5-4, 2-1 Empire 8) scored the game-winning goal in the 14th minute of overtime and went on to a 3-2 win over Hartwick (4-4, 2-1 Empire 8) on Wednesday evening at Wright Stadium.
Ithaca built a 2-0 lead early in the second half before Hartwick rallied to tie the score. The game-winning goal came off the stick of Bomber senior
Julia Conroy at 13:25 of overtime.
The Bombers opened the scoring in the first half with a deflected goal by

Hartwick scored in the 45th minute to reduce the margin to one, and then scored the game-tying goal with 2:33 remaining in the second half. That set up Ithaca's overtime victory, where Conroy scored her team-leading seventh goal of the season.
