Indianapolis, Ind. -- Ithaca men's diver
Martin Brown placed 11th in the event finals of the 1-meter diving finals with a score of 426.90 in the 11-dive championship format.
Brown qualified for the finals by scoring 421.85 in the preliminary dives.
The 11th-place finish earned
Brown his second all-America finish of the meet, and marks the second consecutive year that an Ithaca men's diver has posted all-America finishes on both diving boards at the NCAA meet, as
Derek Rand achieved that milestone in 2011.
Ithaca also entered the 800-yard freestyle relay where junior
Chris Cadwell, senior
Jeff Rapp, junior
Jake Robbins and senior
Antoine Connors placed 19th with a time of 7:04.31.
Ithaca ranks 27th through three days of the championship meet with 21 points. The final day of competition is slated for Saturday with preliminaries set for 10 a.m. and event finals at 6 p.m.
