ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Ithaca gymnastics team hosts the Harriett Marranca Memorial Invitational at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Hill Center. Ithaca welcomes Cortland, Rhode Island College and Wilson for the meet.
The Bombers are ranked fourth nationally in adjusted scoring average among National Collegiate Gymnastics Association teams with a team score of 184.225. Four Ithaca gymnasts combine to hold a total of seven spots in the individual event rankings. Senior
Jessica Bolduc is second in all-around at 37.8938, seventh on floor exercise at 9.5875, and 10th on uneven bars at 9.3688. She is one of three Ithaca gymnasts among the top-10 on balance beam. Bolduc is fourth on balance beam at 9.4563 while senior
Kay Gordon is seventh at 9.3875 and senior
Kimberly Callahan is 10th at 9.3000. Junior
Chelsea Robie joins Bolduc in the uneven bars rankings, as Robie is 15th with an adjusted scoring average of 9.2688.
Gordon is this week's ECAC Specialist of the Week. She scored a career-best 9.775 on floor exercise in Ithaca's meet at Cornell, which included opponent schools from NCAA Division I and Division II. Her score earned her a second-place tie on floor. Gordon also scored 9.225 on vault and 9.0 on balance beam. It is Gordon's second weekly ECAC honor this season.
