CANTON, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's basketball team (4-3) placed four in double figures to upend host St. Lawrence (2-5), 82-63, on Tuesday night.
The Bombers shot 55.6 percent on the night and owned a 35-23 edge in rebounds en route to victory. Ithaca secured a double-digit advantage at the 10-minute mark of the first frame and went on to twice claim a 20-point gap. The Saints cut within nine early in the second, but the Bombers answered with back-to-back threes to pull away for good.

Frank Mitchell led the game with 20 points, while senior
Andrei Oztemel added 18. Junior

Sean Rossi chipped in 12 and 11 points, respectively. Senior
Travis Warech pulled down a game-high eight rebounds and Rossi led offensive efforts with seven assists. Senior
Jordan Healey and Oztemel had a pair of steals each.
The Bombers claimed a 19-8 lead on a 6-0 run early in the game. They steadily pulled away, posting 20-point leads at 3:42 and 2:01. Ithaca led 44-28 at intermission.
St. Lawrence dominated the opening stretch of the second stint with a 13-6 streak to pull within 50-41. The Blue & Gold responded with Oztemel and Rossi treys to implement a permanent double-digit advantage and the 19-point road win.
The Bombers return to action on Saturday, Dec. 15 at 1 p.m. against La Roche in Ben Light Gymnasium.
