Brockport, N.Y. – The Ithaca gymnastics team opened its season by dropping a 185.00-182.375 dual meet at Brockport. Senior Jessica Bolduc (Darien/Darien, Conn.) placed first on vault and senior Kimberly Callahan (Rockland/Rockland, Mass.) tied for first on balance beam to lead Ithaca's efforts.

Bolduc also scored 38.025 in the all-around, which bettered the total of Brockport's Elizabeth Levy (37.225). Bolduc placed second on the floor exercise with a score of 9.55 and second on uneven bars with a score of 9.45.

Callahan's first-place finish on balance beam was on a score of 9.55, her first win on that event since placing first three times on beam as a sophomore. Senior Kay Gordon (Summit/Breckenridge, Colo.) was third on beam with a score of 9.5.

Ithaca returns to action Jan. 22 at Ursinus, in a tri-meet along with Temple.
