New Haven, Conn. – The Ithaca gymnastics team scored 177.925 and finished third in a field of three against Division I teams Yale and Rutgers at a tri-meet Sunday hosted by Yale. Ithaca is now 6-3 on the season and returns to action Saturday in a five-team meet at Cornell.
Junior
Jessica Bolduc (Darien/Darien, Conn.) was fourth on all-around with a score of 37.150 and earned top-five finishes in two individual events.
Bolduc was third on uneven bars with a score of 9.425, fourth on vault with a score of 9.550 and eighth on floor with a score of 9.625.
Ithaca turned in three other top-10 finishes. Sophomore
Chelsea Robie (Batt Private School/Hobe Sound, Fla.) was seventh on bars with a score of 9.075. Freshman
Jenna Van Dusen (Lewiston-Porter/Lewiston) was eighth on floor exercise with a 9.625 and junior
Samantha Whiffen (Sharon/Sharon, Mass.) placed 10th on vault with a score of 9.075.
Van Dusen was Ithaca's top performer on balance beam with a score of 9.100.
