Box Score Washington, Pa. - Washington & Jefferson (8-1, 3-1 Empire 8) scored 3:47 into overtime and defeated the Ithaca field hockey team (2-8, 1-3 Empire 8) by a 1-0 score Saturday afternoon.

Ithaca managed eight shots in the game, four in each half, and junior goalkeeper Kelly Singleton (Irondequoit/Rochester) made 12 saves in the contest.

Both the Bombers and Presidents had 12 penalty corners.

Ithaca returns to action Wednesday at Higgins Stadium by hosting Rochester at 5 p.m.
