ITHACA, N.Y. - The Ithaca field hockey team (3-4, 0-2 Empire 8) lost 2-1 to Nazareth (2-4, 1-1 Empire 8) Saturday afternoon at Yavits Field. Ithaca's goal came late in the first half and was scored by sophomore forward Tracy Rivas (East Meadow/East Meadow) off a rebound from a shot by senior midfielder Katherine Brown (Akron/Akron).

Sophomore goalkeeper Kelly Singleton (Irondequoit/Rochester) made eight saves.

The Bombers return to action Wednesday at Oneonta.
