Cortland, N.Y. - The Ithaca women's tennis team (4-0) remained undefeated in dual-match action with a 7-2 win at Cortland (4-2) Thursday afternoon. Ithaca swept all three doubles matches and went on to a lopsided victory.

Ithaca's first doubles team of sisters, sophomore Cristina Nunez (Morris Hills/Rockaway, N.J.) and senior Melissa Nunez (Morris Hills/Rockaway, N.J.) were 8-2 winners at first doubles. The second doubles team of junior Becky Campbell (Sanford School/Chadds Ford, Pa.) and senior Melanie Cohen (Hatboro-Horsham/Ambler, Pa.) won 8-6, and the third doubles team of sophomore Laurel Salladay (Pinkerton Academy/Hampstead, N.H.) and freshman Becky Guzzo (C.W. Baker/Baldwinsville) completed the sweep with an 8-5 victory.

Ithaca's singles victory came from Cristina Nunez, Melissa Nunez, Guzzo and sophomore Allison Young (The Prout School/Newport, R.I.).

The Bombers will be in action this weekend at the ITA Northeast Regional Championships, hosted by William Smith in Geneva.
