Pittsford, N.Y.--Ithaca (10-3, 3-1 Empire 8) lost its first conference game of the season Saturday, falling 94-63 to St. John Fisher (10-2, 6-0 Empire 8. The loss snapped the Bombers' eight-game winning streak, as well as its 14-game conference winning streak that dated back to the 2008-09 season.
Four players reached double figures in points for the Bombers. Freshmen Sean Rossi (Sparta/Sparta, N.J.) and Andrei Oztemel (Staples/Westport, Conn.) led the way with 14 and 12 points, respectively. Juniors Chris Cruz-Rivas (West Genesee/Syracuse) and Phil Barera (Belmont/Belmont, Mass.) each added 10.
With nine rebounds, Barera also led the Bombers on the boards. He also picked up a pair of blocks.
Ithaca returns to action Tuesday with an 8 p.m. game at Empire 8 opponent Utica.
