Alfred, N.Y. – The women's tennis team (5-0, 4-0 Empire 8) shut-out Alfred (4-3, 1-2 Empire 8) for a 9-0 victory Wednesday. The Bombers extended their conference record winning-streak to 23 games.

Sophomore Agata Kubik (C.K. Norwid Gen. Lyceum/Czestochowa, Poland) and senior Natalie Jenereski (Knoch/Butler, Pa.) were victorious in first doubles 8-4. They each recorded another victory in singles play.

Sophomore Melanie Cohen (Hatboro-Horsham/Amber, Pa.) and senior Alyssa Jaffe (Pascack Hills/Montvale, N.J.) also recorded two wins in the match. Both women won their respective singles matches while also winning second doubles 8-1.

In third doubles freshmen Becky Campbell (Sanford School/Chadds Ford, Pa.) and Katrina Erdahl (Mars Area/Gibsonia, Pa.) won 8-3 to complete a sweep in doubles and stake the Bombers to an early 3-0 lead.

Junior Sarah Hollis (Greens Farms Academy/Fairfield, Conn.) and senior Amanda Korba (Solon/Solon, Ohio) also won in singles matches.

The Bombers will travel to Utica Wednesday for a 4 p.m. match.
